CP2509AWC ... CP Small Supreme Ashiko (9 inch head)

CP Supreme Ashikos from LP Music Group are modeled after the tribal drums that originated in Africa. CP offers ashikos in three sizes - small with a 9 diameter head, medium with an 11 in. diameter head, and large with a 12 1/2 in. diameter head. All stand 25 in. tall and feature goat skin heads. Originally rope tuned, CP Ashikos are now equipped with traditional style, chrome hardware and are made from kiln dried, environmentally friendly Siam Oak. The use of modern mechanical tuning, instead of the traditional rope tuning, makes these ashikos an easy drum for the beginning player to enjoy. They are finished with an attractive natural wood or red wood stain and have a rubber non-skid ring at the bottom of the shell to prevent slipping or marring of floors during play. Each CP Supreme Ashiko comes complete with a convenient carrying strap and wrench
