Groth Music is pleased to once again offer the Hugh Tracey line of Kalimbas, thanks to the efforts of kalimba master Mark Holdaway. Now the Hugh Tracey Treble Kalimba is available with an electronic pickup. Just plug it into a guitar amp and WATCH OUT! The Treble Kalimba comes in the key of G, starting on the 3rd (B) and going up 2.5 actaves to a D. This model has been extensively copied by other manufacturers outside of Africa. The Hugh Tracey Treble Kalimba is a superior musical instrument with level tines that rarely give you problems. The Treble Kalimba is a nice match for duets with the Alto Kalimba. Slightly smaller, higher in pitch, and more keys than the Alto Kalimba, this one sounds like a sweet music box.
