This makes a great starter instrument for children approximtely ages 3-6 . Includes the famous Mel Bay Children's Guitar Method Book. Body measures 14 inches long by 3 inches thick. Fingerboard measures 13 inches long. The three higher pitches strings are nylon for sensitive fingers. Package includes a selection of guitar picks. If you are looking for a guitar for ages 6 and up, we would recommend at our 1/2 size guitar which has a solid spruce top and better overall quality.
