N835A ... Nigerian Double Agogo Bells

These double bells, played with a stick (included), form the beat of many traditional dances, most notably the annual Yam Festival. Made from recycled metal by one man (famous in Nigeria for his gong-making expertise), each bell is forged completely by hand and therefore each has a unique tone. This style double bell is the archetype for Brazilian agogo bells. Agogo comes from the Ibo word meaning "time". We specially designed our bells with the handles wrapped in authentic African fabrics to protect your hand and to add color.
