UDU07 ... Udu Igbo with goatskin drum head NEW!

UDU07 is the bottom drum in the photo and measures approximately 8 inches high with a drum head diameter of approximately 4 1/2 inches. Made by hand from mother nature's porcelain based clay, these drums are currently available in 3 sizes. They combine the popular sound of the udu drum with the unique addition of an extra thick goatskin head, making possible a wide range of sounds. By playing on the drum head and covering the holes on the udu drum to various degrees, the player will find many changing tones. This is a very unique and versatile drum.
