Autumn Air - Concert Band

"Death, on the one hand, is a terrible reality that has no beauty.  On the other hand, death can be a necessary for more abundant life to occur.  Dying can be a beautiful process and autumn reminds me of this reality.  This piece has a calmness about it that allows dying to take place.  Various melodies are also used to 'sing in' life to an environment of death."
