La Moto - Concert Band

"La Moto (the motorcycle), is my take on the busy streets of the Dominican Republic, heavily overtaken by the fast-moving, and dangerous motorcycles.  The fast-moving melodic lines represent different vehicles, zooming through traffic, honking their horns, living on the edge.  Pay careful attention to the short articulations, especially in the slower moving section.  The piano part in the beginning is meant to be played freely.  I'm not too worried about perfect rhythmic integrity."
