COVID-19 Response

Our showroom is currently open to the public. Customers may browse merchandise, consult with staff, bring in instruments for repair, and pick up or return rental instruments. Customers and employees are required to wear masks. Please bring your own mask. Instruments are available for testing, though advanced notice is requested so that we can prepare the instruments and schedule an appropriate testing area. Wind instruments may only be tested in a separate room and customers must use their own mouthpieces. As before, we continue to fulfill online orders, respond to phone and email messages, and offer a parking lot pick-up service.

Instrument Repairs

Our repair shop is completing repairs, however due to COVID-19, any incoming repairs must be quarantined for a period of time before our technicians can begin work.  That period of time depends on which category of instrument is being repaired.  The best way to arrange a repair is by phone Phone:  800-969-4772 or email.

Your child's music education is more important than ever. While in-person instruction has widely been curtailed, some schools and private teachers will be starting new students with online lessons. We want to enable students, parents and educators to pursue music education while we all adapt to a changed lifestyle. We are currently offering several options for band and orchestra instrument leasing and delivery.

Online Signup with Parking Lot Pickup: After signing up online and receiving confirmation that your instrument is ready, you may pick it up at the store. Double check the latest store hours before making the trip.

Online Signup with School Delivery: Some schools are allowing us to deliver leased instruments to the school, where arrangements can be made to pick them up. Your music teacher will be able to provide details. Sign up online and select the "Deliver to School" option.

Online Signup with FREE Home Delivery: When you sign up online, certain schools and districts will show this option as available.  Once you have completed the signup, a Groth Music staff member will be in contact with you to make delivery arrangements. If this option does not show for your selected school when initiating the online rental, feel free to contact us and we'll try to make arrangements if possible.

  • We are treating any instrument mouthpieces with industry standard products before and after testing.
  • We are asking employees to maintain a distance of 6 feet from one another.
  • We are using latex gloves when handling certain instruments including customer owned instruments.
  • We are requiring employees to stay home if feeling ill.

Guidelines for Cleaning Instruments
