Order Delivery Options

Delivery: We ship orders Monday through Friday via FedEx, the USPS, and Spee-Dee Delivery. Our website shopping cart will offer various shipping options after you place items in your shopping cart and enter a shipping address. In some cases for Twin Cities metro area orders, we may adjust your shipping method and have a Groth Music driver in a company vehicle deliver those orders.

Flexible Rental Instrument Delivery Options:

Rent Now

Your child's music education is more important than ever. While in-person instruction has widely been curtailed, some schools and private teachers will be starting new students with online lessons. We want to enable students, parents and educators to pursue music education while we all adapt to a changed lifestyle. We are currently offering several options for band and orchestra instrument leasing and delivery.

Online Signup with School Delivery: Some schools are allowing us to deliver leased instruments to the school, where arrangements can be made to pick them up. Your music teacher will be able to provide details. Sign up online and select the "Deliver to School" option.

Online Signup with FREE Home Delivery: When you sign up online, certain schools and districts will show this option as available.  Once you have completed the signup, a Groth Music staff member will be in contact with you to make delivery arrangements. If this option does not show for your selected school when initiating the online rental, feel free to contact us and we'll try to make arrangements if possible.

Distancing and Disinfecting Measures

Groth Music is watching the COVID-19 situation and carefully following CDC and MNDOH guidelines. Here are some specific ways that we are helping to keep our customers and employees as safe as possible:

  1. In order to keep customers and employees safe, on March 25th we began limiting our service to drive-up or delivery.  Our staff is still available to help by phone, email and fax.
  2. In-store lessons were paused effective Tuesday, March 17th until further notice.  Some instructors are offering online lesson opportunities.
  3. Group events such as the bi-monthly Ukulele Jam were cancelled effective March 13th until further notice.
  4. We are cleaning commonly touched areas frequently.
  5. We are requiring employees to frequently and thoroughly wash hands according to CDC guidelines.
  6. We are making hand sanitizer available to employees and customers.
  7. We are treating any instrument mouthpieces with industry standard products before and after testing.
  8. We are asking employees to maintain a distance of 6 feet from one another.
  9. We are using latex gloves when handling certain instruments including customer owned instruments.
  10. We are requiring employees to stay home if feeling ill.

Online-Teaching Resources and Distance-Learning Ideas

Thank you for your understanding and patience, as well as for your patronage of our business. During this difficult and unpredictable time, share the powerful gift of music with a friend, neighbor or family member.

So long as the human spirit thrives on this planet, music in some living form will accompany and sustain it. ∼Aaron Copland
