Ana Kavcic Pucihar and Blaz Pucihar have put together an inventive, exciting new method book for young flutists. The book is visually appealing, and pedagogically progressive in its approach. I believe young students will enjoy working out of the book while building a solid basis for technical skills and musicianship that will serve them well as they grow and progress as young musicians. The book also includes MP3 digital tracks nicely arranged by Blaz Pucihar to encourage futists to practice with accompaniment. These tracks help with both rhythmic stability as well as phrasing with harmony.
