Description
These two folk songs well known in China have been arranged for bassoon and piano by Qi Liu. For over half a century, Mr. Liu has played as principal bassoonist in the Central Philharmonic Orchestra and has taught bassoon in China and as a guest faculty around the world. His compositions for bassoon are widely used in China. This arrangement includes "Little Sisters of the Grassland" and "Red Blossums." They have only moderatly demanding technique and will make excellent performance material for the developing bassoonist.
