The Bennett Band Books, published in 4 volumes starting in 1923, were used to teach march form and style to millions of young band musicians. These delightful marches - composed by famous march composer Henry Fillmore, using the pseudonym Harold Bennett - have been given new life by arranger Larry Clark. The original essence of these marches is retained; only the instrumentation and nsome range issues have been altered to fit the needs of today's developing bands. This collection includes 12 of the Bennett marches along with a helpful march warm-up section composed by Clark. There is the added benefit of a full recording of each march performed by a professional band on the CD included with the score. This is a valuable collection for any level band to use for marches at contest/festival performances, or for sight-reading. Instrumentation: flute, oboe, clarinet 1-2, bass clarinet, alto sax, tenor sax, bari sax, trumpet 1-2, horn, trombone/baritone BC/bassoon, baritone TC, tuba, percussion 1 (snare, bass drums,) percussion 2 (crash cymbals, triangle,) mallet percussion, timpani PLEASE NOTE: Our clearance items may show varying degrees of wear or cosmetic damage.
