Description
This book of 12 elegant hunting trios is written for three trumpets and can be played on three horns as well. Written about 1840, they were written for the Trompe de Chasse, which was pitched in D. These trumpets are still in use today, mostly for elegant hunting parties on horses at the large aristocratic estates in France.They are played with heavy vibrato with interesting embellishments.
