Messiah (Novello/Watkins Shaw) - Vocal Score

Edited by Watkins Shaw, this is one of the most frequently used scores for Messiah performances and sing-alongs. It contains many of the alternate airs which Handel incorporated over years of performances, so is a great reference for soloists.

The appendix includes the 2nd version of the soprano aria "Rejoice Greatly" (in 12/8); the 3rd version of "Thou Art Gone Up on High," transposed for bass; version 2 of the aria "How Beautiful are the Feet,"; the duet and chorus version of "How Beautiful are the Feet,"; and the 2nd version of "Their Sound Is Gone Out."
