Description
Bruckner completed Os Justis as a gradual for Ignaz Traumiler of St. Florian, Austria. The work sets the text of Psalm 37: 30-31 in the Lydian mode. The work is in ternary form, with the middle section comprising a soloistic round with entrances cycling via ascending 5ths. The work concludes in a monophonic chant, "Hallelujah".
