Description
Brass Eight was composed in 2011. Its three movements provide a contrast from bold and "brassy" to, in the second movement, slow and mellow. The third movement is, again, bold and strident. Included in all three movements are changing meters, dynamics and tempos. By doubling of all parts, the work might be performed by the brass section of a concert band. Instrumentation: Includes score and parts.
