These settings were transcribed from rare recordings of Marcel Dupre (1886-1971) which came from concerts in 1957 and 1961. David Stech, Professor of Music at the University of Alaska Fairbanks, has made every effort to transcribe the improvisations in a manner consistent with Dupre's playing.
