Groth Music is pleased to announce its acquisition of Dorn Publications. As of February 21st, 2024, all Dorn Publications and Needham Publishing copyrights have been transferred to Groth Music.

We are working to make all listings in the Dorn catalog available for sale on our website. It is mostly complete, but please contact us with questions.

Dorn Publications was founded by saxophonist Ken Dorn. It grew to include over 2,000 books and compositions by David Liebman, Chris Vadala, John Anthony Lennon, Yvonne Desportes, John C. Worley, Ralph Martino, Walter Hartley, Arthur Frackenpohl, Dorothy Chang, Steven Mauk, Ramon Ricker, and many others. Dorn also published The Sax Journal (not acquired by Groth) for over 40 years.
